Installed AMP and 10"
I bought a Pioneer GM -X372 Amp rated at 240 watts. The I bought a Pioneer Sub 400 watt power handling. Its inside of a cheap box, but it does meat the subs requirements. I ran my power cable in basically the same way BonneMe did, only diffrence is i think his is an 8 GA( correct me if im wrong Jason) were mine is a 10 GA wire, it fit to the side post no problem, i sealed up all my crimps with electrical tape just to be sure and the fuse is about 6 inchs from the battery connection.
Now for mounting the sub and amp in my trunk, im thinking of mounting it to the spare tire board using Phillips Wood screws and L-Brackets making sure i always have a phillips screw driver with me incase i get a flat that needs to be changed. ....I though of using bolts but usually u need to be holding onto the opposite side of the bolt to prevent it from spining.
Heres some pics of my sub(pic is off the Canadian Tire Website)
(only differnce is mine is silver)
And my AMP (pic off Pioneer website)
They make a nice pair!
But now i really notice that my factory speakers are lacking!

He can't have a fire, he has a fuse. For that amp it'* ok, although i recommended 8 for a reason Matt If you ever upgrade other things do the power wires again. Did you see how mine was mounted?

i couldnt get my hands on a 8 GA the best they had was 10, the fuse is like i said installed 6 or inchs from the battery, im guessing the fuse is there to allow no more power through the cable than it can handle!
