If he only goes a foot in from each side of the trunk, that should be enough to lay the amps down (all depending on their size). But the problem with doing a fiberglass enclosure, is figuring out the volume you have. Both those are some nice tutorials for glassin.

I'll have to see what is going on Sunday but I think it will work. I can scan your car when you stop by too.
I'm not sure exactly how I am gonna make the setup yet (wether it will be all wood or some fiberglass too).

are you going to build:
1 box with two spaces (each 1.2cuft)
2 boxes with with one space (each 1.2 cuft)
1 box with one space (total 2.4 cuft)
?
Wish I could help...I love this kind of thing!

Not sure yet, I need to see how 1.2 CuFT fit into the trunk. I have sonsidered all the options you listed but until I can see how it all fits I can't say for sure.
You can help all you want too! I have done basic installs many times before but never a custom one like this. I would love to hear all you have to say.

If you do a fiberglass setup you can mold the box to fit all the little nooks and crannies of your trunk to maximize the space; I have one sub in my trunk that takes 2.5Cuft and it consumes most of the space under the rear deck. But if I were to make it out of fiberglass I know I could have it "butt" right up to the back of the seats at that angle maximising the space and have it stick out not nearly as far or as tall.
