Fog Light Switch

Fog Light Switch
The foglight switch on my Brother'* SLE is sticking and is inoperable now. It'* stuck in the "in" position and cannot be moved. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, how do you fix it? Will the switch need to be replaced? I have his SLE for the week and he has my Aurora so I'm doing some work on it while I have it. It goes in for a new FL wheel bearing Wednesday too.

Have never heard of this happening before. I'd think you have to replace the switch.
Not sure if you can just replace fog light sw. by itself though, may have to replace entire switch pod.

92-99 you can replace just the switch. Like many people I have a few of them from the junkyards.
I'm guessing the 00'* are a pain in the butt though.

Take that pod apart, unclip the switch panel from the vent pod and look at it, it may be pinched by the panel itself but i think you can take that small pod apart[is take off the front panel of it], not sure. Give it a try.

Alldata shows that the entire switch assembly (switch, dimmer, and adjuster) is removed and replaced as an assembly. It did not list a part number, however.
