I also have an 00 SSEi with the same issue that started today. I just put in a new ac compressor last month and had it recharged. Rechecked the freon pressure today and it was at 40psi, soposedly normal but helped a little just still not as cold as the passenger side. Any other Ideas?

That sounds a bit low to me. It just may need a bit more added.

K, so today it was about 90 and I went to buy more freeon, Filled it to 45psi and still nothing, Took the quiet pannel off the drivers side to check the actuators and both of them are turning when I change the temp settings. I even pulled the HVAC Batt fuse to reset the accuators. Any other Ideas?
