Traction Control/ABS
I have been having some problems recently with my 2000 SSE. The traction control and ABS don't work anymore. Right now this isn't a problem, but come winter...
It used to work sometimes, in that it would work whent he car was first started, then shutoff sometime after that. now it turns off right after the car has started. Pushing the traction control button does nothing, and I have greased the ABS sensors.
Anyone else have this problem, and know what I can do? Hopefully this doesn't mean I have to take it in to get it fixed...

Unfortunately, only the dealer can pull the ABS codes. Check to make certain there are no broken wires leading to your wheel sensors. Any noise from the wheel hubs?

Archon is right, look at the wire connection on the hub.
But it look like a bad Wheel speed sensor to me. ...Intermittent. i got that on mine.
If thats the wheel speed sensor then youll need to buy the Hub/bearing (if you dont already know the wheel speed sensor is include only with the complete hub assembly/(bearing.)
A bad wire will cause the ABS light to come "on" when you hit a bump.
I bet thats the WSS.

Not sure what you may be looking for as far as being easy. The ABS/TC is quite complex. Here'* a recent post from the other H bodies section which includes the description of operation. That shows all the different areas that you can check.
