A/C problems Driver blows hot Passenger Blows cool Bonneville 2000 SLE
Hi, I know this has been covered a few times before here, and other places, but I am still stuck.
My A/C blows hot no matter what I do out of the driver side vents and cool or hot depending on the setting. The 134a pressure is >30 PSI, I have filled it myself twice and taken it to a shop. The shop put a dye in but didn't find any leaks, tonight I will take a black light out and look again. I *know that the freon level is not the problem as it blows hotter than outside air.
After they could not find any leaks it started blowing hot (HOT, this is texas) again; the shop told me the AC/Heater control unit needed to be replaced, I did it myself (the part they quoted me was $400, got it at amazon for $193). I believed him that it needed to be replaced because the back lights didn't really work, and flicking the dial sometimes helped.
The passenger side actuator moves on queue when I move the dial, it always did, even with the old control unit.
I've seen on these forums something about a driver'* side actuator, but have not been able to locate it; the diagram seems vague to me.
Please help! We've already had 14 >100º days here and its not even July!

Thanks, that is the diagram I've seen on other threads here, but I'm just not sure what I'm looking at. My car is not a dual control system, only one **** controls the "temp," that is, cooler or hotter. I have no digital readout.
