Center console removal...
Got a 2000 ssei and need to remove the center console so that i can get the main dash out... i burned up a module somewhere behind the dash i think. Was diagnosing the A/C from the control module, and while testing voltage may have gotten sent down one of the wires (with the control module out) and fried something. Now all i get (on the module after reinstallation) is a powered up screen with absolutely no writing. Any suggestions would be very nice, but i also need some help on console removal. Cant seem to find it in all data at all. Forgot to add that i have most everything removed... but there seems to be something holding it down not visible to me.

typing this from memory, I can go verify this tonight:
there are 4 bolts behind the dash trim that goes around the radio.
there are 2 bolts visible next to the seat on the floor, and there are 2 more bolts on the rear sides of the center console.
put the gear selector in 1st, and pull the clip out of the front of the shift ****. Pull the **** off. Carefully pry the center console trim plate straight up and you should see the remaining bolts near the shift mechanism.
you will also have to remove the wiring and shift cables.

Im thinking the two on the rearside is what i cant seem to find anywhere. are they on the instide or outside. I really have no visible signs... unless the under the heat duct???

they are on the outside, do you have the seats out?
there might be some bolts under the flip-open tray, I'm not quite sure. Pull those torque screws out and remove the black felt piece and you might find some bolts under there
