Who wants to go swimming?
So we have been getting a good bit of rain around here, and I noticed that the bonny keeps collecting it and surprising me with wet feet when I go to drive places. Now as delighted as I am that she is trying to give me a present, I would much rather she stay dry. Now it only seems to happen when the car is facing down hill(the way it is normally parked at home) and if it has been raining for more then a couple hours. All the water got so bad that on saturday i took out the carpet, dried it and put it in my basement, and i had to just throw away all the recycled foam/insulation material that was below the carpet. The leak is some where on the drivers side, up around the peddles i guess, but I just cant find it. Does any one know where it could be leaking in from, and what would be a good replacement for the backer that i just had to throw out(and i had to throw out all of it.)
~Thanks yall

I had the same problem in a 98 olds achieva. Turns out the water was coming in through the cowl. I took it off an used a garden hose to pinpoint where the water was entering than sealed it.

Mine was leaking through the rubber accordian tube that houses the wires for the door locks and windows. sealed it up with silicon, no more wet floor!
