the car handles bumps just fine, but there is a clunking noise, such as loose change, when I hit a bump. I didn't think much of it, keeping in the back of my mind that it was something bad, but it sounds like the front righ wheel is making the noise and not the back, although I could be wrong ... man, this isn't looking good

That noise from the front end is likely the antt-sway bar (stabilizer) links going bad. That is not an expensive fix, just sort of a pain. Here'* a link on the discussion about that.

I wouldn't get too down on it yet. Find out what they tell you when you get the alignment done. That could be all that you need

hopefully, although it'* going to be two weeks before I can get that done. Unforunately I still have another week of class, and then a week of finals, then I will be dealing with this problem. I really appreicate all of your help guys, and I'll let you know when I have it looked at in a few weeks
