Modulator issue
So, i got this modulator in about 3 days ago, thanks to willwren, and i was going to install it and it seems as if the hose that is on the current modulator is bigger than the tip of the modulator in which it is supposed to slip into.
http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/...-000037888.htm
Should i just use hose clamps to install it? its about 1/16 of an inch or a little bit less bigger that what it seems it has to be.
Edit: i said 1/8"? thats way too much, more like 1/16. my bad.

Go to the auto parts store and get a vacuum barb reducer. Bigger on one end than the other. You may have to buy a pack of misc. vacuum fittings from the help section to get it. Then get a short section of hose for the smaller size. New short smaller hose on the modulator, then the reducer adapting into your stock line.
A hose-clamp will not seal it correctly and will induce a vacuum leak, running you lean and screwing up your idle. Lean on an SSEi is a very bad thing.
If you don't know what I'm talking about with the reducer, I can take a pic of one later today and show you. Your best bet is the parts counter at NAPA. Take the modulator and car with you. They'll 'hook you up'. Autozone and Pep Boys won't know what a hose is.
