"driver info" dash lights
**93 SSE**
Does anyone have an idea why my "driver info" dash lights are flickering??? It only happens every once in a while and only when its cold out... It has never happened in the summer. When it starts nothing can stop it, First I thought it was my light swtich, but when I move it or turn them off and back on it still does it the whole time. This morning it was flickering, then it went off completely, so I pulled over to shut the car off hoping to "reset" it and it didn't help, it was still flickering. Now when this happens nothing else is going "wrong", the car is running fine. Any suggestions??? Thanks a bunch

But i've never gotten around to it cause it involves removing the dash....yuck.

I think this is a common problem, I've had this same thing happen in my '99 a few times. Driver info display flickers and sometimes goes out completely, and when out completely, the courtesy tone beeps like if the door were open with the key in the ignition. Haven't gotten around to checking the connectors yet but in most cases its loose connections and or corrosion/moisture.
