Default SSE 94 rear air struts

I have been asking the same question. I know that I feel just about everything on the rode and don't really want too. So I think it is about time with the 167,000 on this ride. Anyone have any standards or suggestions?

Check the struts to see if they are leaking oil. If they are, they are probably shot. This doesn't work for air struts however.

Also, do the bounce test! Get the corner of the car bouncing up and down and then release it. If the car doesn't return to a level position after one bounce then the strut is probably bad.

Default Deoes you SSEI have electronic shocks?

if you have the Performance ride or Touring ride buttons next to the traction on/off button, then you have electronic shocks, in this case, you will get an error message telling you that you need to replace the bad shock.
