The AL7 seats have a wiring harness that has to stay with them. 15 wires or so, But you don't have to modify them at all.

Std seat leather isn't the same as the AL7 leathers i believe. I rememb er them coming apart different on the sides.

yea the AL7 leathers have an opening on the back of the seat to get access to the blatters for the lumbar, and there is more room for the side bolsters to move
