It did idle like a dream when I dropped the car off, if you took the rice pipe off the TB. Before I brought it down to him.....something like that would never matter. It may haven't something to do with the car sitting for 2 mos or so before I brought it down to him.

Either way, that car IS my old 95.....SSEi....... That car has had a shitty idle for the last 5 yrs of it'* life.....It was doing that for the 2 yrs my friend I got the car from owned it.

The filter on the car is a K&N.....and I cleaned and oil'd it before heading to AL. with it. So unless he drove it through a wall of dirt for the last 5 mos.....that filter should fine.

IAC doesn't do **** with the idle......BILL YOU AND I HAVE BEEN THROUGH THIS I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY TIMES BEFORE.

Remember this vid Bill?

I made it for Ed Morad becuse he loved it so much...and had no idea what was wrong with it either.....INTESNE'* Todd, Scott, and Tim have all looked at it twice and have no answer....

Adam....I'd have just left the towel on the air filter lol....

Nate, I think you and I had at least half a dozen phone calls on this one.

And I can gaurantee you the intake isn't the solution to the problem, and couldn't have made any difference. It'* pure coincidence.

If the problem returns, get a replacement throttle body with all sensors. There may be an issue with the casting around the IAC seat and passage.

That is a replacement TB on there now. It came off of Gordy'* 95 which was known to NOT have any idle issues. Sure it'* coincidence, and why it don'es like running with the air filter on is beyond me, could be something else now, but I doubt it'll fix the idle...

And ya I remember the phone calls, those were the fun days lol.
