My mother pulled out the starter cables and a hose or two
And I put the cables and hoses back together, but now it idles really low and shakes the entire car, and when I put it in reverse, or any gear, I hear it popping in the back.

I heard something about having to have a code to sequence it all again
But I have no idea what I need or how to do that.

That car is my baby..

First we need some info. Is it supercharged, or is it naturally aspirated?

If you have a camera, can you take some pics of exactly what was pulled off, and what you did to put it back together?

Every little bit of info helps.

Vacuum hoses?

There'* no sequencing to be done. It will need to learn idle again..but that'* relatively quick.
