Default Sprays ATF

out of this cooling line:

(cutaway from driver side)

I assume I need to replace but a shop charges 2 hours of labor

My question is as to whether this is the high or low pressure line. Also it is not leaking out of the seam where it goes in there but out of the bottom of that fitting.

From what I know.....It'* not a matter of high or low pressure, like an A/C system but a Return and to a cooler line. I don't know if they're readily available at a local parts outlet or dealer.....But the line could be an easy do it yourself thing.

When I picked up my bonnie I looked around for them and was told dealership by most places. Napa had some for a similar body style and ordered them so I could look at em. Dealer is supposedly pretty reasonable on these lines.

Not sure if those have o rings. Maybe worth dropping the line and looking if somehow it got pinched or broke and all you need is an o ring?

After my engine fire (caused by one of the trans lines to the radiator), I replaced both lines in 10 minutes for $40 from the dealer.

It is the oring. The pipe is fine

Is there a cheap fix for that?

also how &$^# do you get that bolt/fitting off? The person who put this rebuild trans in (fluid has been changed 6 times in 20,000 miles by the same shop ) totally put 200lbs of torque on it or something

On the excessive torque, best I can tell you is use a line wrench. That way you won't slip off it, get hurt and round it out.

The O-ring you can probably get at the local Napa or parts store. You want to make sure it'll handle oil. I can't imagine it'* expensive at all.
