Quick Questions.
1. I bought a replacement Dipstick since mine was broken. Is there anything I should do with the replacement before I put it in ?
2. When I got new spark plugs yesterday my friend noted that My car was missing a bit. Now with the new plugs he says its gone. how much of a mileage difference should I see if any?
Thanks

1. Fondle it and talk dirty to it. It'll love you forever.
2. 2.55678%.
Seriously, it'* impossible to predict. How intermittent? Was it more than one cylinder? How do you normally drive? What octane? What plugs?
You tell us after the next couple tanks.

There is something you should do anytime you replace a dipstick. Hold the two up together and ensure they are the same length. You want to make sure you don't over or underfill either trans or oil because you got a dipstick that wasn't the right length.
On number two...I'm predicting you'll lose mileage from the car running better and you getting on it more.
