Default question about a/c cutch

I rechagred the ac the spring it worked for about a work then stop now the composser will not move. I notice the clutch part I can freely is that normail

I'd tend to agree that the clutch is fine, and you have a leak. Did all the oil leak out of the freon? If so, the compressor will seize.

I would also be suspisious of the compressor clutch, i converted my 92 SE to R-135 a year ago, and after doing so, the compressor would not turn on......i tried everything, then i finnally pulled out the compressor relay, and installed a new one, bam, been working ever since...........(you can tell if you have a leak of the person who recharged the system put in a die that will be visible under a black light)

Mmmm there'* a good point. My a/c didn't want to come on until I took the relay out and reseated it.

Dirty stinkin contacts again. Makes me wonder if my car was next to Murdocks in the pond.

Yes, the clutch spins seperate from the compressor til it is energized. Then the electromagnetic clutch locks up with the compressor.
