Brake Light
My dad says that the brake light on the 93' Olds 88 is on only when its cold. He said it stops fine but I know the brakes are well under half worn. Do you think its electrical or an actual problem?

there has been like 3 topics in the last 3 days on the Brake light. If the brake light is on that means there is a problem with your system. The fluid could be low or the parking brake pedal could be triggering the light. Look for low fluid in the master cylinder, the slightest loss of fluid will cause the light to come on. If its low look for leaks by the master cylinder, the brake lines and the rear wheel clyinder

And do NOT drive the car until this is fixed. If that light is on, it could be VERY serious, and fail without warning. Bad time of year for surprises. We've had a couple failures here, and it'* a major butt-puckering experience.
