92 SSE loses power even with pedal to floor.
My Bonneville has been lurching and acting like it'* not getting any gas after driving about 30 minutes. Driving down the highway all of a sudden it will lose power and only going 20 mph then speed up, then slow down. Even when I have the pedal to the floor it won't speed up. I pull over and it idles fine. I try reving it up and it sputters. If I completely turn off the car and restart then it will drive fine for a while. Already changed the fuel filter. Thanks

Could you edit your signature to add your Year and trim, please? What is your year and trim of your Bonneville? That will really help us in determining the cause. Right now, it could be several things depending on if you have a supercharger or not.

I had a similar issue before. After driving a while, hard throttle would cause power loss, and eventually it got to the point it couldn't maintain highway speeds. I found the problem to be a dying fuel pump that got weaker the warmer it was.
Please get your fuel pressure tested at idle and at idle with the vacuum line pulled off the fuel pressure regulator. Do it first with the engine cold, then do it with the engine hot enough to duplicate the problem.
