Default Occasional SES light

I've got a 93 SE and the SES light comes on for a little bit and goes off, then on again with no noticable pattern. I checked it, and its a 43(Knock Sensor). Does anyone know what this may be?

Could be the connection at the sensor(*) itself. It'* one wire that goes to each sensor. I can't remember if the Series I has one or two knock sensors. They are located below each exhaust manifold and screw into the block itself.

I believe the series1 has 1 sensor. Unplug it and clean up the connections. See if that corrects the problem.
