Default Injector tip

HI everyone! Im new here and an hoping for to get some answers!. I recently did the green coupler install on my 95 Buick riveria sc series 1. Problem is when I changed my orings on the injector the plastic tip that holds the oring on broke. Im assuming there are all going to break when I remove them. I cant seem to find the tips anywhere(autozone, oreillys etc) I will be calling GM tomorrow though. Anyone have the part numbers for the tips or any info on them would be great thanks!

They don't hold the o-ring. The metal lip they attach to does. The o-ring will be fine without the tip protector, and the tip serves no real purpose. The injector will spray fine, and the fuel spray pattern will keep it clean.

Ignore them. (they're actually called pintle caps, and are very universal for most bosch fuel injectors of this series).

it seems if i ever take the injectors out again the oring may get stuck in the injector hole or fall in on the pistons. So youre saying this wont happen?

Lube the o-rings first (before insertion) with some light oil or silicon grease.

If you're determined to get the caps, go to www.fuelinjectionenterprises.com
Left menu bar "contact us" and tell him where you came from.

Your choice. My 'upsized' 32lb injectors on the Zilla have no caps, never did, and I've never lost an o-ring.

Individual pintle caps:

Full v6 injector service kit:

I bought the kit to recondition some L67 injectors. It was very nice.

Wrong caps, and wrong injector type.

The Series 1 is quite different.

My bad...didn't realize 95 Riv was Series 1 (although re-reading original post, that is mentioned )

I do believe that same guy sells pintles and kits for the earlier injectors, too.

Thanks Willwren! Spud helped me out and has the right caps shipping. Im still confused a little. GM had some big blue orings that didnt fit the injector right, the seal kit also came with some kind of funky plastic ring. It didnt look like it fit the injector at all. Are those blue ac delco orings for the series 1?? Also i tried using the felpro orings with no caps and they wanted to slide off so i wont be using the injectors without the caps =(
