Default Magnaflow exhaust output biased to one side??

I just put a Magnaflow dual outlet muffler on my 94 SLE, and with chrome tips it looks awesome. Only concern is that there is a LOT more exhaust smoke and a LOT more rumble out of the driver'* side tip than the passenger tip. Has anybody experienced this or have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jay

I've seen this happen on a lot of cars. I'm not sure what to do about it. The gas is taking the path of least resisance.

my neighbor used to work for his family'* muffler shop, and said you can balance it by using a small pipe that runs from tip to tip. (behind bumper)

if u want more details, i can explain more

Put in a cross pipe in between the rear bumper and the muffler.....connecting the two exit pipes. And then it should even it out.

Magnaflow'* are basically an open box witha few baffles. Crossing a pipe between the tail pipes will cost more money, weight more, and not do much still.
