Series 2 SC into my body?
Well here is my deal. My motor is completly seized up. Not sure where but all I know so far is that on my way to work not to long ago I lost oil pressure and oil was pour out the under drivers side of the motor. DONT KNOW EXACTLY WHERE. well anyway it sat in a parking lot for a week before I could pick it up. My mechanic told me it was compltly seized.
Now to the subject of the post. I need a new motor. My friend has or had a 97' GTP and he has just gotten into an accident. If the motor is still good and intact I was thinking of buying it off him to replace mine.
1. Will it fit and be compatible to my 92' SSEI?
2. If so what other components will it need?
3. If all is good would it be worth the trouble?

You'll need the entire engine, trans, wiring harness, and PCM. And the gearing on the GTP is different, among other things. I'm not sure the GTP PCM will work for you. You may need to get one from a 97-99 SSEi. (The 96 and earlier SSEi has a different trans, and for that reason, the PCM from a 96 will be incompatible with your friends trans).

well I havnt done something like this before but I would like to learn more on how to. And I am not rich but I can pull together a couple grand. I just need a new motor and I found another 3.8 but the guy wants 850 for it with 102k miles on it with no SC. I think thats a lil much when I can go buy another car for that much.

Swapping the electrical out would be the hardest part. The mechanincal is easy, but getting it all to communicate correctly will be "fun". If you can find the same engine as you have for a tolerable price, that would be your best bet

Dont even bother getting the engine out of a W-Body, there is a significant amount of differences in how the engine is set up between W-Body and H-Body it wouldnt be worth the time. Also the grand prix harness and pcm will do you no good.
