Default Fuel Guage sensor????

Well here is a wierd problem, my guage works fine when i fill up, but when i get to about 1/4 tank when i go around corners my car almost dies sometimes, so i don't know what is going on, i don't want to run it dry trying to find out for sure, afraid it my damage the fuel pump runing it dry. any ideas guys??

Ye olde cut out problem.

Many of the owners of the 1992 have complained of this problem in prior threads. I don't know if there is a well documented solution yet.

I would suggest changing the subject to "1992 Engine Shuts Off Below 1/4 Tank Under Acceleration" or something like that.
