A/C BLOWER, help please
I need help, just recently took car apart to examine causes as to why blower has quit blowing. Have cheked all fuses and relays that I think are related to a/c and blower. Also checked the trouble codes for the a/c, as you see I have electronic climate control, and not reporting any troubles. Reset it and unpluged battery tried again and still no luck, switched relays to test and still no luck. I have taken car apart from dashboard and will be willing to try something new, any suggestions? you are right i probably could take to dealer for repairs, but where would the fun be in that.

yes i have supplied the fan with 12v from the battery and operated fine. car is 92 SSEi, just bought the car a few months ago. a/c was working just fine until a few weeks ago when it decided to just blow at one slow speed regardless of the speed you selected, now it just won't blow period. i checked the volts at fan and it is at 1.65 at full speed and 1.34 at slow speed. Unplugged blower module and checked power on that, now there is a purple wire that splits between the module and fan which is the one that is at 1.65 volts and the other at module is gray with black line and is higher at 7.85.

Your system is different than the manual system.
The voltage to the module is supposed to be 8V at high fan speed (grey/black wire). Your HVAC programmer is fine. But when it is at 8V, the output of the module to the purple wire should be at 12V. Check the red wire for 12V+, and the black one for a ground. If the red, black, and grey/black all check out OK (12V+, ground, 8V+, respectively), and the purple is not reading 12V+ (either at the fan or the blower module), then the blower module has to be bad.
