Oil Level Sensor
So I replaced the oil level sensor on my 97 se. Just a heads up to anyone that may have to do it. There is a list of things you must know before getting into it.
1. drain the oil
2. Remove the starter
3. Depending how the cross member is and your engine sitting jack the motor up a bit.
If "the powers at be" want I can take pictures and write it up. When I went into it I thought easy plug and play. Wrong answer. The sensor is about 3 inches long so you need to pull the starter off to slide it all the way out.
So my dad'* rule of thumb start things early cause you dont know what will happen came into major play.
Yay engineers cram it in there

After jacking up the motor, I was able to pull it out w/o removing the starter. As I remember the second time I figured starter might be easier.

Yeah can go under the starter then ha. But I totally was not risking breaking engine mount bolts so I was able to get it out with the little tiny play in my mounts. I was so p.o.ed just stared at it and said "really seriously really?!?" then made and ate a sandwich

When you stop over..we'll put my Regal on ramps. I'll let you see how nice the sensor is to do, yet..the oi; pan gasket is impossible.. you'll get a good laugh.
