rear bumper cover removal and install...
I was wondering if anyone has personally changed a rear bumper cover on a Bonneville? Just want to know how much of a paint in the a$$ it will be or if it can be done with simple hand tools, I would assume so. Any tips or tricks? I will probably be doing this next month or so and would like to get a heads up on some info if its available. Also anyone know what years will be a direct bolt on for a 93 SE? The extent to my body work I have replaced a nose cover on a 84 Z28, a hood on a Z28, and realigned a fender on a 88 GTA, cant be too much harder can it? Thanks for any help... :P

It'* not hard at all it should take you about 30-45 minutes.
All 92', 93', 94', and some 95'* will transfer into a 93' SE.
First, pop your trunk and remove the screws from the plastic plate on the cover and trunk tresh hold. Second, remove the screws from the inside of the rear wheel housing.
Third, remove the lights inside the top of the license plate housing. Fourth, go under the car and pull off the plastic screw fastners from the bumper reinforcement. Five, use a 10mm socket to remove the 3 nut bolts on each side of the quarter panel - just remove the carpet mat and you'll see them.
I happen to have a spare green SE bumper cover in my house, maybe you might want to buy it.
If you have any question email me during buisness hours.
