Rear wheel cylinders
How do you open the rear drums? Is it just like every other car and it will fall off with minimal persuasion or you have to remove a center nut? (didn't even check, I'm doing this this wednesday and I'd like to know what I have to expect!)

They just come off like any other car. If they have been on there for a long time and they are worn they may be diffcult to remove. If they are worn really bad you will have to back off the adjuster to get them off.

Which can be really fun, given there is usually no inspection slot to back the brakes off. Planning on doing a brake job? Is this your only vehicle? If so, I suggest doing the job with a bunch of parts on hand. Count on spring kit, and maybe adjusters (they are side specific). If you can, it might be nice to have wheel cylinders on hand too in the event you catch one starting to leak.

I'm only changing the wheel cylinders for now. I changed the brake hoses last week and I noticed one bleeder doesn't close properly. The brakes brake, but theres always a drop of oil that protrudes from the bleeder when someone applies the brake. I'll assume it'* like a minor minor leak. My brake pedal also have random travel to reach the braking point so I'll start with that.
I'm also changing a front flexible brake hose cause it'* lacking a layer of rubber at some point. Job'* gonna be easy, all rigid brake lines are a couple days old.
I'm also changing a front ball joint. I'd like to say I can't wait to have changed everything that'* worn, but it wouldn't be true, I enjoy working on the car. A lot.
Be jealous now : My girlfriends my assistant and she actually enjoys working on the car with me (at least, that'* what she tells me!).
Back on topic : thanks for the advices, as always, it'* much appreciated. This little forum has helped me a lot since I have the car. Sometimes, the smallest of advices can lead to a much better work planning and it'* been like that for a few times now!
