Parke mine in the up position and unplugged it. Been there since.
Thats a good idea on getting one from a GP.

man, them bonnevilles must have been elcheapo back in the day My low end non trofeo toronado came with a STB now to grab one fer the civic...

You may or may not feel as much of a significant increase with the Civic, as it'* a nimble car as it is with (IIRC) a pretty non-soupy structure.

There are cars out there in which STB'* do absolutely nothing. And they aren't uber sports stiffy cars either. It'* cheap enough, go for it.

yer, mine was from a '92 LeSabre

(hood struts work too, if you want to milk a junkyard car for its parts )
