Default Draining battery

Okay, I have a 90 SE. Found I had a drain on my battery about a week ago. Battery is completely dead after just a day of sitting. Used some advice from here and tracked down the system by removing fuses and checking the current with my multimeter. Turned out to be the numbe the 11 fuse. Controls the radio and the heater/ac control. With the fuse in and the key out, I can hear something under the dash in front of the passenger seat. Sounds like a vent wanting to open or close. My question is has anyone had this problem or heard about it? Any tips on pulling the dash? Was planning on changing a CV joint this weekend but this moved to the top of my To Do list.

Location sounds like the HVAC programmer (black box with hoses going to the bottom) for the Electronic Climate Control. Logic says to check the HVAC fan blower module in the ac duct to the left (from front) of the fan motor (under hood). Module is also only used with ATC.

Is the fan moror doing anything ?
