I have a Flowmaster 80 and a Magnaflow high-flo cat. How does it sound? Fricken amazing. The idle is deep and intimidating, and it seems the sweet spot is around 2000 RPM'*. It gets very loud and deep. Performance wise, I felt there was a big difference especially off the line. There are lots of videos around here of both the Magnaflow and Flowmaster setup.
are some sound clips of newer gen Bonne'*. Theres a good clip of sse1990 around here with the Magnaflow setup, and another good one is Merlin91/97 Flowmaster setup. If you can't find them tell me your email and I'll send them to you.
This is what mine looks like. (Sorry the car is so gross.
I hope this helps your desicion. If the car is in good working order, I see no reason to get another. If it is getting rough and you have money, buy a newer Bonneville.
