Side Marker Lights
Is it easy to change the side marker lights on our model?
I took a look from the outside and its pretty snug. Can I change the 194 bulb from the engine side? or do I have to drop out the lens housing.
If I was to attack it from the back...it looks pretty tight. How easy is it to change?
In the meanwhile, I'll flip through my Chiltons

I'm glad this has been a poplular thread
I pulled out the light housing on the driver side...no problemo, I took off the snorkel on the airbox and I had lots of room. The passenger side however, the location of the burnt side marker light....was IMPOSSIBLE..I had no leverage and no room. Tomorrow when I change my cluster, I have to pull the battery and get in there. Damn light housing is stiff

side marker lights? thats easy! all you do is look behind the light into the engine bay and youll find a screw and unscrew it from the grille. then the side marker and the chrome trim piece should pull out after you unplug the bulb. I don't know if I'm missing any screws that I'm not telling you about but you'll find them if I am.

I tried to remove the plug from the housing without having to take off the healamp assembly. Today I have to take out the disconnect the battery anyway, so I will have the room to attack the light fixture from inside the engine bay. I just need enough room to be able to twist the fixture so it can pop out.
But...hmmm, maybe I'll clear corner the lights today...we'll see
