1991 Bonneville SSE red/tan end of life?
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do with a 1991 Bonneville SSE with about 140 on the clock? The engine isn't strong but still starts and moves the car around my parking garage every couple months, but the master cylinder is out and the transmission seems weak. However, the outside is in great shape for it'* age. The paint is still good and I even have one perfect tail light left that I found a few years ago and put on. Floor mats are are original and actually in decent shape. The car was well taken car of and driven weekly until about 2 years ago. She was owned by my grand father from the factory then passed to me ten years ago.
Any suggestions outside of calling the scrapper are much appreciated. Is there a market out there for people who want parts from this type of car?
Thank you

Always people looking for parts. If your going to scrap it I would say grab the best parts and sell them. You will get more that way. Fixing it up by replacing the engine and or trans is possible, but is it worth the cost when the car has a low value, that'* up to you. It may take a while to move the parts, so if you have the room to store them, I would go that route.

Parts needed for 91 bonneville?
Hello there. Sorry this is 8 months late. I think I have started my 1991 Bonneville SSE up for the last time this weekend. I would love to talk with you about selling you some of those parts you need. Can you send me your list of what you need?
Does anyone know what the fair asking price is on this vehicle at the scrap yard?
I have one perfect left tailight too if you still need that. This car is Red and Tan with the gold rims. Body and paint is in good shape. Most of the interior is great too. I put the engine and trans in a tough spot taking them through the mountains of colorado and now the problem is likely more than I can fix again.

My friend took his 1996 Buick Park Ave to the scrap yard last year and got about $250 for it. That was WITHOUT the engine and transmission and wheels.
Most scrap yards need the gas tank removed, engine oil pan and the trans oil pan dropped prior to dropping off.(EPA thing)
Remove anything that'* easy. Headlights, taillights, common external engine parts/sensors etc, radio, cup holders whatever.
