Glad we could help, I'm just sorry we didn't have better news. Next time you're looking at a car to buy let me know, I'm not that far from you maybe I can come have a look-see.

Man how much did the guy charge you for the car (when you bought it)? That sucks man.

Mourning....

Hope you get a new bonnie soon. Well now that that'* behind us, shall the parting begin? Remember: Your bonnie can live on by giving my '87 the parts it needs to live!

How many miles on the engine again? I might be interested in various engine parts based on their condition...

Does the A/C work on that car by any chance?
How'* the interrior?
What'* the color of it (inter. exter?)

I'm not sure how much i need for sure but who knows, maybe i can help ya get back some of that lost cash?

What rims does it have on it? (hub caps or the gold honeycomb things?)

And I'm only 3 hours away Z-man. Glad we could come and TRY to help at least. That'* the first 87 I've had my hands on. Just glad you didn't get pissed.

For those that DON'T know (which is everyone but Jason and I), the Zman would be good to have around for a bar brawl. He'* bigger than DrJay and I combined by about 50%.

Yeah no kidding, he could probably put a bar fight to rest just walking up to it. I was almost scared to tell him his car was messed up lol

Which reminds me, Zach - How old are you? I was going to ask while I was up there but I spaced.

Default Yeah Um.... Bar Fights...about that.....

I 'm only 18 I just graduated High school On June 8th. So the me stopping bar fights is a little beyond my age limit, I'll be 19 in september.
But To Mike:
She'* Blue In and Out, and the guy Charged Me 170$ for the car.
The Rims are BLACK? Three Spokes.....Stock?
O I'm a very calm person, I went way past getting pissed... The huge crack in the windshield, The huge Wrench 300MM did that.....

I know its a little late to actuallly test this but do you remember if the AC works?
if so i'd be interested in the lines that come from the compressor.
I'f they do work then i'd pay you for them.

Maybe someone here has access to a complete in-car harness (how is the engine harness ? It is really not that hard to replace the whole thing particularly if the IP harness is still good, connectors are all keyed.

Padgett, that would be a good solution, but his problems go much deeper than that. He has melted wires behind the dash and behind the fuse panel also.

Still the best starting point, though. I think he'* talking about getting JUST enough to actually start the car and keep the battery charged for now. Anyone got a FSM set for 87?
