What color should I paint these letters?
Under my hood, the "Riviera by Buick" Text is fading on the underhood mat. What color should I paint it, and what should I use to do this? It has to be something that won't bleed/soak in and spread because it won't look good. Whatever color I choose for that, is also the color that the rest of my engine's color scheme is going to be. (wire loom mostly)

I like the white that it is already, just needs to be freshened up a bit. Not too sure how white wire loom will look on the engine though. I believe that the lettering is silk screened on there. It might be tough to get good results with paint.

The color of the engine cover, or the letters on the engine cover.

Then keep all your letters the same color. Both black engine cover, and insulator with say the exact color of your paint (touch up paint, code matched) would be a SWEET touch. One of those subliminal things you don't notice.
I'd cut some holes in the cover too, so it's cooler under there, and put some mesh or something in it. Black ones are nice! |
Normally I'm a fan of "paint it black".... but in this case I'll have to go w/ white.

White if you want it to last, red is nice but will fade with heat and time.

Not an option, but I say Silver, as close to Chrome as you can get would look nice.....
