I about **** myself. We're blaming U-haul for a cover story. They were so inept, we had to hitch and unhitch that sucker 2 times due to computer or reservation problems while we were there. They finally changed their minds for the last time, and Shadd ran in to rewrite the contract while I went out to hitch it back up. The hitch spindle was so rusty and beat up, I thought it was tight, but it was just bound up.

When he went to roll up the ramps, I was standing on the tongue to guide him straight in (Cueball BARELY fit in width), and the catapult began. I think my feet actually caught air, but I came back down ok.

Had him hold it there long enough for the pics.

That'* crazy! U-Haul always rents quality products...I had to rent a trailer one time and that thing was the biggest piece of crap...

Yeah, that'* about how this one was, I don't know if we took a picture of the rust, but you can see through the diamond plate where the car sits....

Another successful meet! While I couldn't be there in person, I was there in spirit (...and via text messaging! Thanks to all who kept in touch with me during the meet. I was sitting by my campfire in NY thinking about y'all 3000 miles away.

Way cool motorcycle too, Mr. Rounds! I'm soooo envious! Congrats to Matt for taking the trophy home and to everyone for their awards! So much work goes into a meet - but you folks make it look effortless.
