Nice huh, don't worry the white letters on the tires was painted on and it's off for a cleaner look

Now, just replace the rims, and that's TOMORROW!

PRD2BDF 01-18-2006 05:51 PM

Yup, they're okay but not unique enough so I'm getting new rims. I know, I know but the new rims were on sale and I couldn't resist so Big Bertha will look even sexier tomorrow.... I hope.

Looking good, can't wait to see those awesome new rims.

1993 SLE 01-18-2006 06:11 PM

car looks good....needs tint

Ryan 01-18-2006 06:50 PM

Yeah I concur, tint would look great.

PRD2BDF 01-18-2006 06:56 PM

Well, I fear the bubbles, I've seen on many cars that has tint, they have air bubbles all over it. :bluetwitch:

That doesn't look good, maybe I'll get it in the summer.

I do agree, maybe mirrored to tint. Like it starts as mirrored at the bottom and fades into tint. That would look cool.

Fuel

Gumball 01-18-2006 08:19 PM

Looks nice and clean Fuel, keep up the good work.
and 95seand78z28 has raised white letters on his ride
and I kind of like the look.

dont fear the bubbles... thats just from idiots who dont know how to tint... most people dont even use a water solution...

if u have it professionally done for $150-200 it will look perfect

Question-Why do you call her "Big Bertha"?

PRD2BDF 01-20-2006 10:48 PM

Honestly I don't know, :?

I was trying to come up with a catchy name for my car and the first thing popped in my mind was Big Bertha. A spur of the moment thing really.

You like the name?

ANYWAYS, the car is looking great, Fuel. And these guys always say "get tint, it'll look better" (and they're usually right). My bro got his done by the pros, and it's perfect! So, like they said, fear not the bubbles! :)

Melissa 01-20-2006 11:53 PM

I almost had a Silver Bonne, but the dealer wouldn't budge and ti wasn't worth it, so I ended up with white, but it's grown on me!! All I knew was I wanted a Bonneville!!! Nice looking car tho Fuel!!! ;)

95SLE 01-21-2006 07:39 AM

So where are the pics with the new rims? LOL

I agree get the tint done by a pro and have it meet your state requirements. No need for a useless ticket.

:bworthless:

dbeast420 01-21-2006 08:15 AM

Definately have to agree on the tint. Also have to agree on the pics too ;)

PRD2BDF 01-21-2006 10:45 AM

It's coming, it's coming....

I just need to find another person with a digital camera, don't they make disposable digital cameras? I'll have to check...

Maybe I could ask for tint for my HS graduation gift. I often like to push the limits on legal %. I might get one level below or one level above, who knows.

Thanks guys for all the nice comments. 8)

Looks sharp! Nice choice

Melissa 01-21-2006 02:27 PM

Fuel,
When you're in Photobucket (signed in), all you do is click "EDIT" above the picture you want to resize and then scroll down on the next screen that pops up and go to 75% 50% or 25% of orignal size then click resize... it'll go back to your album. All you do to check the size is click on the picture it'll bring it up.. if you don't like it you can make it smaller, but if you want to try it again, you have to delete that picture out of your album and reload it in it's original size because you can't resize a picture bigger, only smaller! Good luck, but here's yours at 75% of the original!

Thanks guys for the comments again. I really appericate them. I think the rims give Big Bertha a more sporty sedan look than before.

Now tint is next but I gotta wait until spring or summer for that....
