Surfer out in the cold.

I decided that I need to get some nicer pics up on here, these may not be it. I was going to go and get some scenery but I'd get stuck trying to get to the places I have in mind (canyons are full of snow). So here is my first real attempt at taking pics of this car.

You need to get some of these! They look much better than the black caps with Chrome wheels.

They are usually pretty pricey, I see they have them on ebay now for $15.99 and free shipping. I just bought a backup set!

I admit, the car looks great. But I really don't want to see snow.

silversurfer 12-08-2011 07:51 AM

@ Tom, yeah I agree about the chrome caps, but I'm looking at upgrading to 18s here in the near future so these will get moved to winter rims...still might get them though lol

silversurfer 12-08-2011 07:54 AM

Thanks Dan, but come on its only about 2 weeks away from Christmas, there's gotta be snow lol. After that, the snow can go.

Nice looking car..first time ive ever seen it

silversurfer 12-08-2011 10:39 AM

Thanks, yeah I haven't really taken too many pics of her since I got her.

sseidriver97 12-08-2011 01:40 PM

Well they look good.do you have any appearance mods planned?

silversurfer 12-08-2011 02:37 PM

Well. the GXP Bumper and spoiler are on it in those pics...I plan on getting the dents out of the deck lid and new tails for the lid and the driver side (both are cracked bad, only 1 was from me though) and then LED and tinting the rears along with getting rid of the amber. 18's are on the list. I need to replace my headlights (cleaning isn't working) and I want to do either projectors with halos or just HID's. I also want to put some LEDs in the bottom but then get a strip that changes to amber for under the turn signals. Those lenses are getting tinted too. I may also build a new hood for one of my class projects maybe even a custom bumper. There's a lot on the list for this car, and that's just the start of it.

i also want to eventually repaint her, better add that to the list. Along with a few extra things that I'll think of along the way.

sseidriver97 12-09-2011 11:18 AM

Did you have a color in mind?

silversurfer 12-09-2011 11:46 AM

Back to the Galaxy Silver, may do something a little different with the pin striping on it though.

sseidriver97 12-09-2011 12:44 PM

Sounds good

I tired to get it clean, only got up to 23* that day. I spent an hour with the hand spray washer, attempted to wax it , but it was too cold for that, so I took it through the automatic and got it color polished and rust inhibited. Then took it out and wiped it down...Turned out pretty good actually IMO. Be better with a wax job though.
