Love those Firebirds! You've got an obvious love for the Pontiacs. It shows, lol.
That LS1 is megabeef! Very, very nice.
And yes, the Bonneville is performance luxury with attitude.

Tjnapster, I know what you mean by local car shows being rice shows. We used to have a nice one with almost 99% classic cars. After a few weeks it turned into a rice show, so me and my dad turned around and left in disgust.

Thanks guys.
I always liked the higher-end Bonnevilles.
My friends call my Bonnies "grandpa cars", but whatever, they drive Rice with Maxwell House Mufflers, so there opinion'* worthless, lol...
My parents bought Grand Prix'*, but I always thought the GP couldn't match the aggressive poise and attitude of the Bonnie. IMO, my parents 4 door GP looks like a pregnant Grand Am, lol. The interior of the Bonnies kick azz and I still think my '93 SSEi is the most comfortable car I've ever driven.
My '93 has Tranny issues, out of commission, and I'm pissed because I prefer driving the '93 SSEi over the '00 SLE. The '93 came in the dark green and gold package exterior package with tan leather. I LOVE that combo.
The Firebirds are pretty crazy. I worked my *** off while in school to buy the first one, then I kept trading them in one after another until the final LS1. They were all fun to drive, but the LS1 T/A is an absolute beast and has much better lines then the Vette.
The Bonnie and T/A are well matched. Neither car is subject to the current 'me-too' Rice movement, like these Toyota/Lexus and Honda/Acura clones. How boring...
Sorry to ramble on... I'll post better pic'* of the Bonnie'* this weekend!

Yeah, his G6 is a hard top convertibile. I drove it around and the new 3900 engine is pretty responsive. The stock rims are 18", a little tall for that car and there'* alot of road feel. Personally, I would have waited for the Turbo Solstice
