is the white curse true? well I've been led to believe it is
So how'* it going guys n gals, well some of the older members may remember me and I know Pat will as we are '93 SLE brothers but anywho my name is Brad and I'm one of the members on here that usually just reads and doen't really write too much especially since my car was actually in storage all winter (the past 7 months actually) which honestly was the best thing I could do for the car, no Michigan salt. So anywho, just got her out last weekend. Put the battery back in, put the nw plate tab on and started her up. It was like it hadn't even been setting, started right up! One of the many things that makes me proud of my 166,000 + mile Bonne.
So long story short the curse has struck again!! my car was broken into up at school last night, when I got there this is what I found. . .
so the police patrolling the parking lot came early this morning and taped up the window and made a police report
and this is all they wanted, the crappy old heat unit that doesn't even work half the time, those bastards
so I'm heading to the junkyard tomorrow to get a new window, dash cover and black B-pillar trim piece (they messed it all up when breaking the window)
has anyone ever replaced just the glass on these cars? any tips/tricks?
I'm pretty pissed. . .

Damn, SLE Brotheren....sorry to hear.....and yes my car was also defiled at school, I know how you feel and share your pain
the Glass is actually easy to replace/remove...(i took out the glass to Tint my Windows)
there are holes in the window regulator to get access to the glass and the 10mm bolts that hold it on to the scizzor arm

the thing left of the head unit is a PA system with other sound effects (sirens included). That thing sure was fun back in high school. . .

So I was just out by the car (it actually gets to stay in the garage right now) and noticed my trunk lock is all effed up. they obviously figured if I had an aftermarket head unit I may have subs. so my car being a 93, you can't pop the with the butten inside unless you had the ingnition on, they tried to pop the lock using a freaking screw driver! So the lock is messed up along with the paint around it, DAMN IT! If these idiots knew anything they would have seen I didn't have a sub cable attached to my radio that doesn't even have a sub output anyhow!!!!!!!!!
AHHHHHHHH!

As Pat mentions..it'* easy. I hopped into it w/o being sure how the glass came out. Once you understand how it'* in there..you'll wonder..."why'd they make it so simple"
