Here are the things I've done to my 1997 Olds Eighty Eight
Purchased in October 2012 from elderly lady who could no longer drive, Original owner with 41k miles
New Tires
New Intake gaskets, (Upper & Lower)
Redesigned Intake plenum, Painted Orange
New SenSen Struts, all 4
New Brakes/Rotors/Drums
Reconditioned headlights, Sanded and buffed
Buffed exterior of Car.. was stained from never being washed
Installed Bluetooth Radio, New rear Speakers
Replaced Drive Axle'*.. Vibrations.. still does it (was rear Drums)
Replaced Pass side rear ball joint, had up and down movement
New Radiator, Hoses, Thermostat 180, heater Core, heater Core Hoses, O-rings on Water pump outlets to heater core hoses
New Vacuum Tee on side of throttle body that runs down to transmission modulator
New Serpentine Belt
Replaced Dex-a-cool coolant with regular Antifreeze
Air Filter
Headliner
installed Window Tint
Warranty the rear drums, They were causing the shake from not being balanced drums
Car rides nice and smooth now, I imagine that'* why the rear ball joint on passenger side had to be replaced is from the drum not being balanced and caused severe shake.
Have been enjoying My Eighty Eight. easy to work on, parts are cheap. Car is rock solid with no sign of rust anywhere
Should be a great ride for the next 150k+ miles
Thanks for reading
