The silver against the Burgundy looks GREAT along with the silver engine cover. Something different and it looks like a professional job. Kudos

Thank you to everyone for all of the wonderful comments! I was scared to do this and have been putting it off for sometime…but I guess I had a PMS moment and decided to make it a productive one.
Fuel… I know you mean well…BUT … there are so many things the BC women have done on here that are truly more impressive than slapping paint on plastic. But thank you any ways.
Sonoma…Sure! I’d love to paint your calipers/drums. However, you can’t drive the car for 24 hours afterwards….so I’m not sure if you’ll want your car out of service for a whole day.
Ted….I would love to go to Letchworth State Park for the day. I think peak leaf time is in October…definitely something to plan on.
HandyMan… yes, leave your grill black.. I was contemplating whether to go smooth or textured on the cover…but I liked the faux metal look and the fact that it was more of a brushed silver to match my rims.
GXP…I can’t remember if this brand had a chrome finish for plastic or not…not quite sure, since I was looking at so many different kinds and colors. Let’* see how this holds up to the bugs/stones and then you can decide if you want to try it.

Wow, that silver against the red looks amazing...i guess i like it for the same reason that i like the two tone paint on my car, if its all burgundy, it just doesn't look right, it takes the silver to accent it.
And for the engine cover. WOW, very nice. The hammered silver looks amazing! If it was just straight silver I don't think it would work as well.
Very nice job all around!

WOOHOO another silver grille/arrow combo! Looks great!! I believe that'* the first silver grille I've seen on the newer generation Bonnies. Did you consider putting clearcoat on the grille?

RE: Siggy...oh yea! Thanks for the reminder!
RE: Clearcoat - No...didn't think about it because the paint is supposed to be chip resistant...but that'* a darned good idea.

Looks awesome Tracy.
You are truly a Bonneville nut.
ROFLMAO...that is great, even though you are a grown up adult, the parents still do the "shake the head and walk away" thing......classic.
You are truly a Bonneville nut.
