January Clar-Barring :) Cleanest 96 on the block ! MUST SEE
First of all, I'd like to thank my great friend Ed (BlackFormula01) for lettin' me use his dad'* dealership to do all of this work, and for helpin me with the ENTIRE multi-step process. This car is like new again..and it was well worth it. The Clay-Bar really did purify my paint. It made it smooth as ever again. Too bad the 18'* aren't on there for the pics.. but ENJOY!!
look at those green and blue flakes shinin'
..somebody'* formula didn't get to take a bath today :( We'll do that next time.. I'll gladly help!!

Yes, we definitely used the polish too. It smelled just like cinammon.. it was wonderful
..and Sol.. its actually not too bad out right now. Its around 40* and not too wet anymore. That weather won't last for too long though so i've gotta enjoy it while i can.

Whoever owns that ***** Firebird needs to take better care of it, like maybe clean it once in a while...
Anyways...Ryan, the Alien looks great...too bad the weather was crappy and you had to take a perfectly clean car out in the elements of a lovely Indiana evening. I love doin that stuff so any time bud.
Ed
Edit: What we did:
Wash the car with Dawn soap detergent (its basic enough to strip old wax off the car)
Dry (obviously---chamois rock)
Mothers California Gold Clay Bar Kit
3M Perfect-It I/Meguires Scratch-XI (Polish and light swirl remover) (we used both because for some reason the 3M was being difficult...weather maybe?)
Finish with your choice of wax. (Meguires Gold Class in this case)

1993 SLE, sure buddy!
By the way...the buffer is a Porter Cable 7424. Its a good quality orbital that always does a good job...its the operator that usually messes it up.
