since i am always lookin for somethin to do... i decided tonight that we would be using the lst of our 1/2 sheet of MDF...... to create a better lookin stereo install
so far we've got the trunk stripped down.....
we arent sure on amp layout so we are dry fitting this all together.....
the MDF will be covered in WHITE vinyl to offset the blue... and ethen a BRIGHT BLUE pontiac logo will be created and covered giving a popped up 3D logo.......
and just for fun...
painted the MAXIFUSE cover rustoleum hammered silver to match the sight shield....
and of course my shelf o car stereo stuff lol

well, what should have been a simple lil 2-3 hour finish project turned into a major event, we got confunded by somethign that a 3rd grader should have been able to figure out... how hard can it be to cover little 3x1.5" rectangles with vinyl....... apperently REAL hard thus a good hour and a 1/2 was lost ont hat part of the project... official finish time: 4:15 am... we worked from 9:30-2 yesterday and tonight from 9:45-4:15 :?
and now the pics.....
]
these are the lil bastards that killed us......
so in a 1/2 asleep stupor jim came up with the idea of hiring a midget to hold the boxc while we figured something out tomorrow.., this was really funny... so funny it warrented its own build sheet.......
now the final pics, we are hookin the neon up tomorrow, should be a SIMPLE install compared to what we did tonight......
and finally....
2 happy guys.....
if you've made it this far... the sightshield got installed......
we made it thru the install w/ only ONE fatality.....this fuse gave its life so that my glow may continue... RIP little guy....

Dear God, NO!!! THE POOR INNOCENT FUSE!!! THE HORROR
I'm not sure I trust you two with power tools and glue that late at night, not counting the ELECTRICITY Is that why your hair always stands on end??? And I love how the angry smiley in that pic has a goatee and spikes, gee who was THAT meant to represent??? :P Then again, it'd be a lil hard to create a smiley with a moustache, goatee, and a ponytail...
Looks AWESOME...white though...you added more curse to your car Not to mention more NEON I think I can see it from my front yard
