Newer bumper (new pic)
I went to the u-pull-it today with a couple of people and saw a 92-95 SSE that was in pretty good condition. I kind of always wanted a SSE/i front bumper and since I can't get my ram air scoop on my bumper to keep from cracking... I decided to get it. The bumper, grill, and fogs came out to being a whooping $21 so that was pretty cool. I stuffed it in my friends puddle hopper civic with it hanging out the window and I was on my way.
I've got it on the car right now but I still have a little work to do before I'm happy with it. The sides have to be grinded down since I built up the fenders to meet up with the beemer lights, the whole thing is getting stripped since the blue paint is peeling/cracking, the SSE letters and 3 body lines are going to be filled, and the SSE grill has to be grinded down to meet up with the beemer lights.
And as far as it matching up with the rest of the body goes.. The molding strip on the top of the bumper lines up with the body line on the doors (I took the moldings off). And it will be nice and smooth like the rest of the car.
Pics will be up tomorrow after I mess with it a little more.

Congrats on the great deal! I had to give 150 for the rear bumper assembly this spring.
And for some motivation:

Pat, it'* around Bristol PA, north of Philly and off of route 13. Its called Cresent u-pull-it. But I've been going there for about 4 years and rarely see any bonnies in good condition..
Thanks John Deere Boy, I sure do need encouragement to battle my laziness. :? But school/work also leaves me with little time....
Anyways heres the PROGRESS pics:
Sorry it was a little dark. I've still got to mess with the grill some more to line it up and put mesh in there. And as usual the body work is no where near finished.
