Stop on in with the rims Pete.. it'* much easier in the garage with air tools. We'll swap them on and take some pictures.. get the club vote as to which rims stay on.

Re: heaviness of the rims on the 2000+ style...remember it was on the 2000+ style that the swoops were found on, so I wouldnt sweat the look to much. It'* gonna look solid no matter what, you just need to decide what you like more.
