what do they push? like 180 crank? i remember driving one back in the days and they were pretty quick back then

94cutlassvert 08-26-2010 01:43 AM

175 at the crank it defenently is no dog

94cutlassvert 08-26-2010 01:44 AM

Should be about 175 with the ram air and 170 without. I think the "ram air" is just a marketing scheme for a cold air duct. That's the real benefit unless you're going over 100. That's probably when the incoming air gets compressed and increases manifold pressure. You know, you should put in a boost gauge, go to a track, and let us know what you see!

I had a Alero..(pretty much the same thing as a Grand Am) Same color, with tan leather, 3.4, every option, until it overheaded and warped the heads
