On a better note -Something new -AND NICE!!! CABRIOLET!!!!!
A new horse in the stable. Drove down to South St Paul last night and brought this home. Needs transmission, passenger headlamp assembly, drivers seat, and a small dent pulled on LR door. Got a sweet deal on it. Just looked at the RPO sheet and has the F41 suspension -WHOOT!!
Oh, yeah, it'* a 1997 Buick Park Avenue in pearl white with cream cabriolet top and tan leather interior. It is not a Ultra so it doesn't have the venerable L67, but the heads were just rebuilt, ALL gaskets replaced, new UIM, brake pads (F&R), rotors (F&R), front brake lines, and coolant flush with the good green coolant.
Car has 152,201 miles on it and it purrs. I am very happy with the car so far and by the time I have it all fixed I will still be well under $3k invested including purchase price.
Some of my favorite features are:
35% tint on front door windows, and 20% on the rear glass
Pearl white paint with cream Cabriolet top with Gold package (hood ornament and Park Avenue lettering on quarter panels (need to install right rear lettering))
F41 suspension
Monsoon Stereo system
memory seats
4-wheel disc brakes
dual climate control

Um, question though..... How did you get it home if you're saying it needs a drivers seat and tranny? Tow?
