Lesexy is out of commission
I knew I had a small gas leak it was only a matter of getting the money to pay for it. The leak was only leaving half dollar sized spots so i thought I could hold out just a little longer. Well today after painting the doors again with undercoat I had it running in the driveway while it played music and i took the stickers off and when i parked it there was a rather large (and still growing) puddle of gas under my car. The leak is at a connector just after the fuel pump. I had my appointment for the shop to look at it next friday but i had to call today to get it in as early as possible and the earliest was 8am thursday. so I'll be driving my dads 02 lesabre to and from work this next week.. fml.

that happens alot, infact when it happened to my bonny i found out they had a help kit from autozone thats got the right fitting to go into the filter then into the stock line if you go back to a spot thats not soft and it comes with a compression coupler you tighten down on it.

i dont know much about swapping gas lines, the whole line doesnt really look like it needs to be replaced where the leak is at is where alot of snow/slush flies up so its rusted worse hopefully its a cheap fix. ill look up that kit though just to see what it is.

Bummer, the 300 bucks is about right. I dont like to give shops labor rates cause I'm a cheap bastard. But it pisses me off more when I jerk round a whole weekend on it. Been chasing an electrical short all morning & 'bout now I am gettin....hostile..... Damn cars. if it was a horse I guess we could shoot em..

Sorry , but don't blame the car it has lived it'* life in the rust belt . If you lived closer you could have all the parts off my 96 parts car and installed . all with no rust
